At The Norwegian Stables, we’re building a cultural space rooted in intention, slowness, and connection. Yes, we’re raising the next generation of high-premiere Norwegian Dole horses in the U.S. But we’re also telling a much larger story: of Norwegian rural life, craftsmanship, and identity.

Our work is focused on three things:

  • Preserving the critically endangered Norwegian Dole horse through a rigorous, long-term breeding program.

  • Hosting small-scale, meaningful events that bring Nordic heritage into the present.

  • Creating a cultural hub where preservation is practiced in the day-to-day.

We operate on a small scale, but with large ambition. From exhibitions to seasonal gatherings to heritage gift boxes, everything we do is grounded in a desire to reconnect with what matters and to offer others a way in. It’s about sustaining something worth carrying forward.
